Jarred is the host and showrunner of The Catican, which means most of the strange things you see here are either his idea or his fault. He writes and creates the intros, produces the live broadcasts, builds the visual worlds, edits, and generally refuses to let four guys talking about Kentucky sports remain four guys talking about Kentucky sports.

A lifelong UK fan raised outside the Commonwealth, Jarred inherited Kentucky basketball from his Lee County family and spent his childhood arguing about it with Duke and North Carolina fans in Virginia Beach. He cried when Keith Bogans and the 2003 Cats lost to Marquette and later made the questionable decision to permanently tattoo UK on his body.

He is weirder than whoever your favorite podcaster is.

Here is a vegan cookie recipe:

Mix 1 cup peanut butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup oat milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in 1 cup flour and ½ teaspoon baking soda. Fold in vegan chocolate chips. Scoop onto a baking sheet and bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes. Let cool before serving.
